Once you have entered your activation key your computer will probably ask if you want to 'open' or 'save' the file you are downloading. Choose 'save'.
Your computer will now ask you where you want to save the music – we recommend you choose your ‘desktop’. Click 'OK' (or 'save') and your computer will start to download the track.
The length of time it takes your computer to download your tracks will depend on your internet speed. For broadband users it should take just a few minutes. If you are using dial up you may want to make a cup of tea while you wait!
When you have downloaded your track open up iTunes. In iTunes click on ‘File’ in the menu bar. From the ‘File menu’ select ‘Add File To Library’.
In the ‘Add File’ window click ‘Browse’, choose ‘desktop’ and then choose your track. Click ‘OK’ – the file is now added to your ‘iTunes Library’.
You should now see your downloaded track in the 'iTunes library'. You might want to add the artist name and title here because a track doesn't necessarily carry this information with it. Connect your iPod to your computer.
Click on the track in iTunes, hold down your mouse, and drag the 'track icon' to the iPod icon, which should be located under the iTunes library.
The tracks are now on your iPod – scroll through the song list on your iPod until you find the track and press play. Enjoy!
